Brigette’s Technology Consulting and Research Firm (known as the "Firm": Contractor), owned and operated by Dr. Brenda L. Nelson-Porter, agrees to contract the Firm's Editorial Services to (Author, Publisher, or Company: Contractee). Both parties have agreed upon the following services to edit the document(s):

                 Transcript / Manuscript (e-Book)
                 Transcript / Manuscript (Hard Cover Book)
                 Manual (Non Technical)
                 Grant (For Candidates Applying For Funds, Not For Institutions Issuing Funds)

Contractor agrees to perform the following services:

• Evaluate and Apply Criteria in Relation to Contractee's and/or Publisher's Requirements (Instructions)

• Critique Article for Accuracy, Logic, and Consistency

• Use Word Tracker for Virtual Editing OR Furnish a Clean Document with No Editing Shown (Email Submission) OR Red Ink for Written Editing (for U.S. Mail Submissions)

• Provide One (1) Idea For Graphic, Chart, or Table Information (If Applies)
   

• Editorial Services:

  • Return Edited Document within Twelve (12) Business Days After Receipt of Contract, Payment, and Document Sent by Email

  • Return Edited Document within Fifteen (15) Business Days After Receipt of Contract, Payment, and Document Sent by U.S. Mail

  • After Returned, Additional Editing Hours for the Same Document will Be Charged $50.00 Per Hour
     

• Composition Services:

  • Assist Contractee with Composing Document

  • Return Document by Email or Mail After Contracted Time Selected

  • After Submission, Compose Document for One (1) Hour at No Additional Charge if Changes are Required or Requested

  • Additional Composition Hours for the Same Document will Charged $100.00 Per Hour

  • Additional Editing Hours for the Same Document will Charged $50.00 Per Hour
     

• Maintain a Professional Relationship with Contractee

• Maintain Confidentiality

Contractor does not guarantee that document(s) will get published, clients will result from the information presented in the document(s), or monies (funds) will be received as a result of the service.

Contractee agrees to perform the following services:

• If Mailed: Provide Self-Address Returned Envelop for U.S. Mailed Document(s) and Material(s)

• Select Preferred Writing and Editing Style:

• Will Not Hold the Contractor of any Liabilities, Lost Materials, and so forth

  Submit This Contract and Payment Prior to Editing Per Document (e.g., Article). Reference Page(s) included in the Number of Pages:

                   6 - 10 pages for $500.00
                   11 - 20 pages for $1,000.00
                   21 - 30 pages for $1,500.00
                   31 - 50 pages for $2,250.00
                   51 - 100 pages for $2,580.00
  
               With Minor Composition: Submit Additional Payment of $450.00 per Document for Obtaining Assistance with Composing the Content within the Document by Answering the Contractee's Email Requests. Composition include Finding Sources to Support the Text.
   

• Composition Services Only: Newly Composed Document
  Submit This Contract and Payment Prior to Composition of Content within the Document. Contractee will Answer the Contractor's Email Requests within 24 hours. Email Requests Include But Not Limited to Providing Content to Include in the Document. Composition also include the Contractor's Finding Fifteen (15) Sources to Support the Text and Not Publishing Costs. Prices Include Minor or Limited Edits:

                 1 - 5 pages for $1,250.00 (3 Days Contract Time)
                 6 - 10 pages for $1,500.00 (7 Days Contract Time)
                 11 - 20 pages for $2,000.00 (15 Days Contract Time)
                 21 - 30 pages for $2,500.00 (18 Days Contract Time)
                 31 - 50 pages for $3,750.00 (22 Days Contract Time)
                 51 - 100 pages for $5,000.00 (25 Days Contract Time)
                 101 - 120 pages for $6,000.00 (30 Days Contract Time)
                Need Data Collection and/or Data Analysis Assistance (Not Included in the Fee Indicated Above)

• Make All Remittance (No Personal Checks) by U.S. Mail Payable to Dr. Brenda Nelson-Porter

• For Future Services (e.g., Different Documents), within the Contract Period and at the Same Cost, Submit Additional Document(s), Supplemental Form with Payment

Signatures indicate that this is a legal document and a service contract. This agreement is effective for one (1) year from the signature date and when both parties sign. Only changes by an agreed Amendment will be accepted to amend this contract. There are no guarantee that services will result in clients or positive feedback. No refunds will be provided.
