ON BECOMING A VISIONARY MENTOR

In 2008, Dr. Brenda Nelson-Porter, CEO and Founder of Brigette’s Technology Consulting and Research Firm (hereby known as the "Firm") coined, "Visionary Mentorship," which involves being committed to securing any opportunity to enhance knowledge.  Opportunities involve furthering educational opportunities, researching, and story sharing through networking and net weaving, interviewing, and coaching or mentoring sessions (Nelson-Porter).

The following questionnaire is designed solely for professors (adjunct or full-time professors) to gain an understanding why students did not pass his or her course. Passing denotes a C- and above or the final score of 70 and above. This instrument has not be pilot tested and may be updated as time passes.  The findings from your interviews are not to be shared with the Firm but are to be shared with the students’ academic advisor of your institution or an appointed liaison by your institution.  The knowledge gained from the results of a vast number of educational institutions participating further aim to give validity to the New Reality Corporation Concept and the New Reality Personal Interaction Concept.

This questionnaire represents a global initiative.  However, if any institution would like for the Firm to design a specific learner-focused questionnaire solely for the use of its institution, please contact the Firm at 770-251-6765.  Note, the Firm will not be liable for how the findings are/will be used by the institution. Thank you,
